Central government signs MoUs with various states under JJM 2.0

Reform-linked MoUs have been signed between the central government and the state governments of Mizoram, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Tripura and Ladakh under the Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0. The MoUs mandate a gram panchayat-led, service-based model of water governance, with a focus on community participation and structural reforms to improve the operations and maintenance (O&M) of rural water supply systems.
