The Uttar Pradesh government has received investment proposals worth more than Rs 50 billion for projects in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region.
The proposed investments cover solar manufacturing, electronics, information technology, railways and garment production. Allotment letters for the projects have been issued to 17 companies. As part of the investments, CESC Green Power Limited will establish a 3 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with an investment of Rs 38.05 billion. Additionally, Integrated Batteries India Private Limited will set up a 4 GW solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 11.46 billion.
