Government of Haryana (GoH) has approved the revised cost of Rs 102.66 billion for the Millennium City Centre-Cyber City Metro Rail Project (erstwhile HUDA City Centre – Cyber City Metro Rail Project).
Of the total cost, Rs 70.98 billion will cover inflation and tax adjustments, Rs 9.47 billion is for standalone corridor requirements and Rs 4.54 billion is for construction of 1.8-km spur from Sector 5 to the Gurugram railway station.
The project involves development of 30.5 km long metro route in Gurugram city of Haryana. It will be implemented by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited and will connect Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5 and merge with Rapid Metro Rail, Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City. It will also have a spur at Dwarka Expressway and Gurugram Railway station.
