RailTel secures orders worth Rs 2.17 billion

RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured domestic orders totalling Rs 2.17 billion from government entities in Bihar. The first order involves the establishment of a cybersecurity operations centre at North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and the South Bihar Power Distribution Company, along with the maintenance of IT and operational technology systems for a period of five years. The second order has been received from the state project director, Bihar Education Project Council, for engagement as an implementation partner for enhancing education quality in selected government schools across Bihar under the PM SHRI scheme. In a separate development, RailTel has received a work order worth Rs 430 million from National Informatics Centre Services Inc. for the new core link under the National Knowledge Network project.
