AERB approves excavation work for Mahi Banswara units 1 and 2

The AERB has approved the start of excavation activities for Units 1 and 2 of the Mahi Banswara Rajasthan atomic nuclear power project. The project is being developed by Anushakti Vidyut Nigam Limited, a joint venture between Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited and NTPC Limited, to build, own and operate nuclear power plants in the country.
