Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with GH2 Solar Limited to conduct a joint feasibility study and develop a strategic roadmap for exporting liquid green hydrogen from Deendayal Port in Gujarat.
The partnership aims to establish sustainable maritime and green energy logistics infrastructure, positioning Kandla as a major green hydrogen export hub under India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission. The study will assess technical, commercial, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including liquefaction, storage, and specialised port infrastructure. The project is also expected to attract investments, boost innovation, and strengthen low-carbon maritime operations.
