NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has commissioned 90 MW of solar power capacity under the 1,200 MW Khavda-II solar photovoltaic project in Gujarat.
The capacity has been developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL. With this commissioning, NGEL’s total operational capacity has increased from 10,363.90 MW to 10,453.90 MW. The newly commissioned capacity forms the seventh operational phase of the Khavda-II project.
