Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned its firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project awarded under SJVN Limited’s FDRE scheme, comprising 259 MWp of solar capacity, 280 MW of wind capacity and a 200 MWh battery energy storage system across Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The solar component has been commissioned while the battery energy storage system has begun commercial operations. Juniper has signed a 200 MW power purchase agreement with SJVN, which has executed a back to back power sale agreement with Haryana Power Purchase Centre for supply of firm renewable power to Haryana.
