Renovated Terminal-1 inaugurated at Indore Airport in Madhya Pradesh

The renovated Terminal 1 at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was inaugurated on March 29, 2026. The terminal covers 6,000 square metres and is designed to handle 1.5 million passengers per annum (mppa), scaling the airport’s total capacity to 5 mppa. Flight operations from the terminal are expected to begin in April 2026.

Additionally, the rapid expansion of aviation infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh is underway, targeting a commercial airport every 150 km, an airstrip every 75 km, and a helipad every 45 km.
