The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has made a proposal for merger of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and Ircon International Limited for creation of an integrated entity which will lead to enhanced operational efficiency and global reach.
Following this, the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), and the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) will review it for further approval.
