Commissioner of Railway Safety conducts safety inspection on Jarati-Manabar rail section in Chhattisgarh

The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) conducted a safety inspection on the 10 km long Jarati-Manabar section of the Kirandul-Jagdalpur Line Doubling Project. The newly laid section has been constructed using 60 kg rails and includes two major bridges, all engineered to meet 25 tonne axle load standards.

The project involves doubling of a 150 km long existing rail line between Jagdalpur and Kirandul in Chhattisgarh with an investment of Rs 14.6 billion. It is being implemented by ECoR with the project cost being funded by National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC).
