CBIC launches ICEGATE-LPMS integration at Agartala

The Special Secretary and Member (Customs), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), has inaugurated the integration of the Indian Customs Electronic Gateway (ICEGATE) with the Land Port Management System (LPMS) at the Integrated Check Post, Agartala, Tripura, on January 12, 2026. This integration creates a real-time, bidirectional digital link between ICEGATE and LPMS, enabling seamless data exchange on key customs elements such as Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, Out of Charge and Let Export Orders. It is expected to automate workflows, accelerate clearance of goods, reduce manual interventions and enhance operational efficiency at land ports by mirroring digital processes already in place at seaports, airports and inland container depots.
