The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has approved construction of the Kaithal-Ambala New Rail Line Project in Haryana. Besides, the survey for the project is expected to commence by April 2026.
Alongside the proposed new railway line, a new railway station is also planned at Kurukshetra, near Jyotisar village.
The project involves construction of the new line from Kaithal to Ambala in Haryana.
