Two SWD projects get inaugurated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The central government has inaugurated two stormwater drainage (SWD) projects in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Manekbaug Cross Road-Anjali Cross Road SWD Project involves the construction of an 1,800 mm diameter reinforced cement concrete (RCC) SWD trunk main by using the micro-tunnelling method between Manekbaug Cross Road to Anjali Cross Road. The project is likely to be completed within one year at an estimated cost of Rs 689.92 million. The scope of work for the Anjali Cross Road-Sabarmati River SWD Project includes the laying of an 1,800 mm diameter RCC SWD trunk main. The project is likely to be completed within one year at an estimated cost of Rs 703.23 million.
