The Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) has launched the Sujalam Application in collaboration with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N). The application will enable advanced geo-referencing, monitoring and management of rural water supply infrastructure under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Through the new Sujal Gaon ID, each habitation will have a clear profile capturing its water source, infrastructure condition and operations and maintenance arrangements, etc.
