About 40 per cent of work gets completed on Malad WWTF in Mumbai, Maharashtra

Around 40 per cent of work has been completed on the Malad Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The project is likely to be completed by 2028. The scope of work includes the design and construction of a 454 mld WWTF, including a 227 mld tertiary treatment facility. The targeted timeline for the Ghatkopar WWTF (337 mld) and the Versova WWTF (180 mld) is July 2026, while the Bhandup WWTF (215 mld) is scheduled for completion by August 2026. The Worli (500 mld), Bandra (360 mld) and Dharavi (418 mld) WWTFs are expected to be completed by July 2027.
