The Network Planning Group of PM GatiShakti National Master Plan evaluated the seven railways projects. These are:
- Arakkonam-Renigunta Third and Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves construction of 76.55 km long third and fourth railway lines between Arakkonam and Renigunta, strengthening rail connectivity across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. It forms a key part of “Mission 3000 MT” and the High-Density Traffic Routes (Amrit Chaturbhuj) programme.
- Erode-Karur Railway Doubling Project: It involves doubling of the existing 66.67 km rail line between Erode and Karur in Tamil Nadu.
- Guntakal-Bellary Third and Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves laying 45.92 km long third and fourth railway lines between Guntakal and Ballari in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, improving capacity on a key mineral and freight corridor.
- Guntakal-Wadi Third and Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves laying 230 km long third and fourth railway lines between Guntakal and Wadi, traversing Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
- Salem-Dindigul Rail Doubling Project: It involves doubling of the existing 159.26 km long rail line between Salem and Dindigul in Tamil Nadu.
- Yadadri-Kazipet Third and Fourth Line and Ghatkesar-Yadadri Fourth Line Project: It involves construction of a 77.95 km long third and fourth rail line from Yadadri to Kazipet and 32.44 km long Ghatkesar to Yadadri in Telangana.
- Talegaon-Uruli Third and Fourth Electrified Railway Line Project: It involves construction of electrified third and fourth railway lines between Talegaon and Uruli in Maharashtra.
