Petronet LNG Limited signed a loan agreement on December 10, 2025 to borrow a secured rupee term loan of Rs 60 billion each totalling to Rs 120 billion from the consortium comprising of the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Bank of Baroda, with SBI leading the consortium.
The funds are expected to be directed towards financing petrochemical projects including the 750 ktpa propane dehydrogenation (PDH) and the 500 ktpa polypropylene (PP) including propane and ethane handling facilities at Dahej in Gujarat and other capital expenditure works.
