BSNL and Viasat India have announced expanded collaboration initiatives focused on promoting skill development and industry readiness in the field of satellite communications as well as the commercialisation of advanced uncrewed aircraft solutions. These new collaboration efforts between BSNL and Viasat India formally kicked off recently during the India Mobile Congress 2025.
India’s total base transceiver station (BTS) deployments have exceeded the 500,000 mark. However, the country installed over 4,100 new 5G BTSs in October 2025, a decline from over 6,400 sites added in September 2025.
