QatarEnergy signs SPA with the GSPC for LNG supply to India

QatarEnergy has signed a 17-year SPA with the Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) for the supply of up to 1 mtpa of LNG to India. The LNG is scheduled to commence delivery to terminals in the country commencing from 2026. The agreement builds on the first long-term LNG supply contract signed between the two entities in 2019. It is also expected to support India’s transition to a clean energy mix, and strengthen the country’s energy security.
