NHPC Limited has commissioned the second unit of its 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower hydroelectric project (HEP) with the national grid.
The second unit has a capacity of 250 MW. The company expects to commence commercial operations of Unit 2. The Subansiri Lower project is India’s largest under-construction HEP and is located on the Assam–Arunachal Pradesh border.
