In a recent development, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with CEID Consultants and Engineering Private Limited for compressed biogas (CBG) plant and biofuel projects.
As per the agreement, both of the firms would hold 50 per cent stake in the venture.
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-national capital region (NCR) and its neighbouring cities.
CEID Consultants and Engineering Private Limited is an Indian company that specialises in the design, engineering, construction, and operation of CBG plants.
