The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has approved the construction of the Jamalpur-Munger Rail Doubling Project in Bihar.
The project involves doubling of an existing 14 km railway line from Jamalpur to Munger, along with the construction of a bridge over the Ganga River in Bihar.
Along with this, the 7 km long bypass rail line from Ratanpur to Munger is also set to be doubled.
