90 per cent work completed under Redevelopment of Hadapsar Railway Station Project

The Central Railway has completed 90 per cent of the new station building, including ticket counters, waiting areas, and commercial facilities under the Redevelopment of Hadapsar Railway Station Project in Maharashtra. Besides, the project is expected to be operational by January 2026.

Currently, works related to parking are 55 per cent complete, and the cycle stands are 80 per cent finished.

The project involves major upgradation of Hadapsar railway station in Maharashtra at an estimated cost of Rs 1.35 billion. The scope of work includes extension of Up and Down platforms for 600 metres, the existing UP goods line to be converted into UP and DN common passenger coaching line, provision of one additional goods line on UP side, construction of new station building, provisions of circulating area, parking and water supply tank arrangements.
