The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) inked five major memorandums of understanding (MoUs) during the Odisha state session at the India Maritime Week 2025 on October 27, 2025. These MoUs totalling over Rs 23 billion aim to boost connectivity, coastal tourism, logistics, and green energy initiatives in the state.
The agreements include:
- A Rs 5 billion cruise terminal project at Puri in collaboration with the Odisha Maritime Board.
- A Rs 10 billion rail connectivity project for the proposed Bahuda Port with the Paradip Railway Corporation Limited.
- A Rs 3 billion maritime museum and logistics park with the Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited.
- A Rs 2.8 billion import/ export cargo project with Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO).
- A Rs 2.63 billion green-hydrogen mobility initiative with NTPC Limited.
