In a notable development, Kanha CNG and Power has signed a tripartite agreement with GAIL (India) Limited and Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited for compressed biogas (CBG) offtake under the CBG-City Gas Distribution (CGD) Synchronisation Scheme.
The CBG-CGD Synchronisation Scheme aims to create an ecosystem for producing and using CBG by connecting it to the city gas network for use in compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG).
