The National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) FASTag Annual Pass has reached a key milestone of 2.5 million users within two months of its inception. Since its launch on August 15, 2025, the programme has logged over 56.7 million transactions nationwide, indicating healthy adoption.
Frequent FASTag recharges are no longer necessary for NH users with the launch of the FASTag Annual Pass, which provides a practical and affordable travel option. The pass costs Rs 3,000 with validity for 200 toll plaza crossings or one year, whichever comes first. Approximately 1,150 toll plazas on Indian NH are currently part of the programme.
The Rajmargyatra App and the NHAI website are the two portals via which users can buy the pass. The scheme’s quick adoption among highway users has been facilitated by the simple activation procedure as well.
