NHPC Limited has commissioned its 300 MW grid-connected Karnisar solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
This was following the successful trial run of the final 85.72 MW capacity. With this commissioning, the entire plant is ready for commercial operation. The project is backed by a 25-year power usage agreement, which will commence upon regulatory approval from the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission and consent from the sole beneficiary, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited.
