East Coast Railway (ECoR) achieved a freight loading of 137.6 million tonnes (mt) during the financial year (FY) 2025-26 (till September 2025), an increase of 11.33 per cent over the corresponding period last year. The zone also generated cumulative gross revenue of Rs 155.71 billion during this period, marking a 9.45 per cent increase over the same period last year. This includes freight revenue of Rs 141.62 billion, an increase of 10.57 per cent.
Additionally, passenger footfall reached 48.21 million, 5.81 per cent higher than the previous year.
