The Karnataka government has approved funds worth Rs 97 billion for the construction of double-decker flyovers under the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project Phase III. The Bengaluru Metro Rail Project Phase III will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 156.111 billion. It involves the construction of two elevated corridors. Corridor I, a 32.15-km-long JP Nagar Phase IV Kempapura stretch with 22 stations, and Corridor II, a 12.5-km-long Hosahalli-Kadabagere stretch on Magadi road with nine stations.
