The Kerala cabinet has granted approval to the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) to receive financial assistance from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). An in-principle loan of Rs 88.63 billion has been sanctioned, with permission to receive Rs 50 billion in the first phase. The loan will help finance projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Kerala.
