JSW Infrastructure acquires a railway siding in Karnataka for Rs 570 million

JSW Infrastructure has acquired a brownfield rail siding in Kudathini, Karnataka, for Rs 570 million. The acquisition was made through its wholly owned subsidiary, JSW Port Logistics. The asset spans 86 acres of land. The move is aimed at advancing JSW Infrastructure’s vision of establishing a pan-India logistics network. The siding will be developed into a state-of-the-art multimodal logistics park. The total capital expenditure for the project is estimated at Rs 3.8 billion, including Rs 570 million for the announced acquisition.
