India’s first full-scale end-to-end outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) pilot line facility of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited has been launched at Sanand, Gujarat. In his remarks at the inauguration, the union minister of electronics and information technology said that the pilot line represents a decisive step in fulfilling the country’s vision of developing semiconductor design, manufacturing and downstream capabilities, with Gujarat emerging as a pivotal hub in this transformation.
