OIL, MGL sign MoU enhancing LNG value chain

Oil India Limited (OIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) to collaborate in enhancing the liquified natural gas (LNG) value chain on October 6, 2025.

As per the agreement, both firms will work together to explore opportunities across the LNG value chain and in emerging clean energy areas.

MGL is one of the country’s natural gas distribution companies. It has a natural gas distribution network in Mumbai and its adjoining areas and is promoted by GAIL (India) Limited.

OIL is an integrated Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSE) of the Government of India, engaged in the exploration, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas, and the production of LNG.
