Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) handled a total of 41.6 million metric tonnes (mmt) of cargo in September 2025. This marks a 11 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to the 37.5 mmt cargo handled in September 2024. The growth was led by containers which grew by 14 per cent YoY during the month.
Overall, for the first half of FY 2025-26, the company recorded its highest port cargo volume at 244.2 mmt, 11 per cent YoY. Container cargo continued to lead growth, with 20 per cent YoY during the period under consideration.
Besides, the company’s performance in logistics rail volumes in September 2025 stood at 60,640 twenty-foot equivalent units, a 22 per cent YoY increase, and General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme (GPWIS) volume remained largely flat at 1.63 mmt.
