THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has commissioned the second 660 MW unit of the 1,320 MW Khurja super thermal power project (STPP) in Uttar Pradesh.
The ultra-supercritical thermal plant was executed through 14 specialised packages and has now reached full capacity following the commissioning of unit 1. The project features advanced environmental safeguards and captive coal linkage from the Amelia mine with an annual generation potential of 9,264 MUs.
