About 84 per cent progress achieved under Bhogapuram Greenfield International Airport project (Vizianagaram) Phase I in Andhra Pradesh

About 84 per cent of physical progress has been achieved under the Bhogapuram Greenfield International Airport project (Vizianagaram) Phase I. The project involves the design, build, finance, construction, development, upgradation, modernisation and operations and maintenance (O&M) of the airport under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. It will be implemented in three phases, where Phase I would have an estimated cost of Rs 47.27 billion with a capacity of 6 mppa. It will be further increased to 12 mppa and 18 mppa in Phases II and III respectively.
