The Government of Maharashtra inaugurated the Amalner-Beed section under the Ahmednagar-Beed-Parli Vaijnath Railway Line Project.
The project involves the construction of a 261 km long rail line between Ahmednagar and Parli Vaijnath linking with Beed in Maharashtra at an estimated cost of Rs 47.94 billion. It will include 17 stations and 400 bridges.
