Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) has commenced work on overhead electrification (OHE) activities at Reach-1A under the Nagpur Metro Rail Phase II Project.
The works involves laying 25 kV overhead equipment essential for smooth metro train operations. The contract for the same was awarded to KEC International Limited.
The project involves expansion of the metro network in Nagpur city in Maharashtra to provide connectivity to nearby towns and villages.
