The interim terminal building at the new civil enclave of Purnea Airport in Bihar was inaugurated on September 15, 2025.
The terminal was built in less than five months, marking a key milestone in the state’s aviation expansion. Alongside the inauguration, the first commercial flight was also flagged off.
The facility is expected to boost trade and tourism, strengthen connectivity, and open new opportunities.
