Central Railway (CR) has inaugurated its first state-of-the-art unified Kavach control centre at the Bhusawal railway division. The centre will monitor the Kavach system across 134 locations within the division. It aims to enhance operational efficiency and safety by enabling real-time supervision through modern technologies and a dedicated network monitoring system (NMS).
Besides, a key feature of the centre is the factory acceptance test (FAT) facility for Kavach system logics, which enables in-house testing, validation, and verification of Kavach configurations before field deployment. This will ensure higher reliability, accuracy, and faster rollout of Kavach across the division.
