The new terminal building at Donyi Polo Airport at Hollongi in Arunachal Pradesh witnessed the inauguration and commencement of operations on September 4, 2025.
The terminal is spread over 4,100 square metres and has replaced the temporary facility that handled operations so far. With an annual passenger handling capacity of over 1 million and a peak-hour handling capacity of 800 travelers, the terminal is set to significantly ease travel. The old terminal is now expected to handle cargo operations.
The country’s sixth Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik (UDAN) Yatri Café was also inaugurated.
