Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Oil India Limited (OIL) have signed a joint venture agreement (JVA) to establish a joint venture company (JVC) for the creation of a city gas distribution (CGD) network in Arunachal Pradesh.
It will involve the setting up of compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and the provision of piped natural gas (PNG) to domestic, commercial, and industrial customers.
The project was reportedly awarded during the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board’s (PNGRB) 12th CGD bid round.
