The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has recorded a freight loading of 0.94 million tonnes in July 2025, marking an increase of 2.5 per cent compared to the same month last year.
The zone registered an increase of 200.0 per cent in coal, 191.3 per cent in cement, 163.6 per cent in fertilisers, 150.0 per cent in stone chips, and 13.2 per cent in petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL).
