The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved the implementation of the Marakkanam-Puducherry four laning road project (NH-332 A) (Mahabalipuram-Puducherry Package-III) on August 8, 2025. The total cost approved for the project is Rs 21.57 billion. Of this, around Rs 11.18 billion is the civil cost and Rs 4.42 billion is land acquisition cost.
The project involves four laning of Marakkanam-Puducherry section of NH-332A from 62 km-108.04 km in Tamil Nadu on hybrid annuity mode (HAM). The total project length is 46.04 km.
