National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has completed the construction work on the 80 m long Vishwamitri river bridge in Vadodara city under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) Corridor Project. With this, 17 out of the 21 planned river bridges in Gujarat have been completed.
The overall project involves development of the 508.17 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR corridor in Maharashtra and Gujarat with an investment of Rs 1,080 billion.
