Work on eight circular piers completed for 480 m long bridge over Sabarmati river under Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR Corridor Project in Gujarat

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has completed the work of eight circular piers for a 480 m long bridge over the Sabarmati river under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) Corridor Project. Besides, of the total eight piers, four are built inside the river bed, two on the riverbanks and two outside the riverbanks.

The overall project involves the development of the 508.17 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR corridor in Maharashtra and Gujarat with an investment of Rs 1,080 billion.
