The Odisha government has approved renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 178 MW and an estimated investment of Rs 8.70 billion during the 12th meeting of the state’s single window committee.
The approved projects include a 69.5 MW solar park by Prozeal Green Energy in Subarnapur district, a 49.5 MW solar project by INOX solar in Keonjhar and a 10 MW solar unit by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited in Jharsuguda. NLC India Renewables Limited also received clearance for a wind power project in Nabarangpur district. The project proposals were submitted by the renewable energy nodal agency.
