Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has recently conducted a second trial run on Maan Depot – PMR4 stretch under the Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Metro Rail Project (Corridor 3 of Pune Metro).
The project has achieved progress of about 88 per cent. Alstom Transport India Limited has also delivered five modern trainsets for the project.
The Corridor 3 of Pune Metro involves development of a 23.3 km long metro rail system connecting Hinjewadi IT Park to Shivajinagar in Pune, Maharashtra. It is being implemented on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis under public-private partnership mode and will be entirely elevated, comprising a total of 23 stations.
