National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is expected to complete the construction work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) Corridor Project by December 2029.
Besides, the project has incurred cumulative financial expenditure of Rs 788.39 billion till June 2025.
The project involves development of the 508.17 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR corridor in Maharashtra and Gujarat with an investment of Rs 1,080 billion.
